A visit to Sweeney Granite Mountains Desert Research Center

On Memorial Day weekend, we visited Sweeney Granite Mountains Desert Research Center, a private research center maintained by University of California, Riverside.



Here are some of the birds we saw.

On the way back from the Granites we stopped at Zzyzx. It wasn't very birdy, but a Western Tanager was very cooperative.
